eth Hoffert has been involved in the hobby
since 1991 and she's been customizing since the mid-1990s. Although
she does paint some of her horses in the traditional methods,
Beth is best known for her "Etchies," or Original Finish
models that have had some of the paint surface removed to create
a spotted horse or one with new markings. Her etched pieces have
won many championships, and it's easy to see why--they're beautiful!
You may not realize how detailed and crisp-looking etched horses
look--you really need to see them in person to truly appreciate
these lovely creations.
Beth also was one of the pioneers in Etched models. Etching every tiny hair and adding hand painted details to the model. With a total work time of over 100 hours to each Traditional scale piece. The last was created in '99. Beth unfortunately cannot create these anymore due to problem with her wrists.
Other than models, Beth lives in a house filled with critters! Fifteen, yes, 15 cats, one confused dog, and twenty lizards!
