onna Chaney
is a very talented artist living in England whose resincast sculptures
have gained great popularity over the past few years. Most of
her earlier sculptures are ponies, something wonderful to Americans
as we don't have much access to nice pony models! In the past
year or so, Donna started creating more horse sculptures to expand
her line, especially Stablemate-scale models. To the delight of
collectors everywhere, these lovely miniatures are just as finely
detailed and correct as her larger models!
Donna now has her own site for her Animal Artistry studio. It has large images of her pieces including prices. Don't be alarmed if the site doesn't always let you in--this is a common problem; just try again later!
Donna and her husband bought out Alchemy Ceramics to produce their "AAA" line of bone china pieces circa 2006. Many of the pieces long sold out in resin have been re-released in earthenware and/or bone china.
