Timaru Star II saddle # 107, made by SBY in 1985 for Laura J.
Rockmaker. The horse is "Devious Doings" by Laura, who
also took the picture. These early parade saddles were created
with silver paint on stamped leather, which has proven to be a
long lasting method.
Parade
Saddle # 191 was ordered by Julie Froelich in 1987. It was the
35th silver parade set made at the TSII. The horse "Snowfire"
is owned by, and photographed by the artist, who remembers buying
this horse at the local King Soopers grocery store.
Parade
This is TSII saddle # 288, built in 1990 for Lisa Frankland. When
this was created, all silver sets used 'silver tape'. No. 288
was based on a saddle seen in the Tournament of Roses. The horse
is "Liberty" owned by and photographed by the artist.

In 1986, Susan Rudnicki designed and commissioned a "Peacock"
set. In 1991, Susan asked permission to use the pattern to do
a "Peacock II" in color, as many of her parade sets
were then. TSII # 307, the 52nd parade saddle, was built for Lisa
Strang. Susan believes the horse is by Lisa Strang.
Parade
Timaru Star II saddle # 394, made in 1996 for Jennifer Gottlieb,
and called "Buffalo Star". This is perhaps the flashiest
of the prism tape color sets made in the 90s...one of Susan's
favorites. This is the 75th silver parade set made.
Parade
A couple of Little Bit scale saddles. On the left Morgan, TSII
#372, made in 1994 and owned in 2001 by B. Rappleyea. On the right

It is the 4th LB scale TSII parade set and the 85th silver parade
saddle made.
