ESTERN INTERNATIONAL PORCELAINCathy Krusberg reports on this US (Montana based) company:
Initially named Western Distilling, the company subsequently started using the name Western International Porcelain. They operated in the late 1970s and early 1980s, releasing ceramic horses that could serve as decanters. Each model came with a cork (opening was in the model's base) and was individually numbered. I think they were Traditional Breyer size or slightly larger. I'm guessing the attached communique was issued in 1980. As far as I know, the Draft Horse mold that it describes was never distributed; I paid for one but never received it, nor a refund, nor any news regarding the company's ultimate fate. I owned only the Arabian, Saddlebred, and Thoroughbred molds.
