horse line,
and she's also done some one-of-a-kind sculptures as well;
a big thanks to Elizabeth Bouras for the fabulous photos!

Abu Farwa, Arabian Stallion in Chestnut
An original sculpture owned by Elizabeth Bouras;
created in 1954. This horse was sculpted as a prototype for Hagen-Renaker.
Unfortunately they rejected it in favor of the turning "Abu
Farwa" (which they released in white) as they wanted "more
action." Only two of these were made, both painted by Maureen--the
other is a dapple grey still owned by Maureen Love. The recent
"Encore" was based on this piece. Photos provided by
