Welcome to the
KATHLEEN KIRCH LINDLEY GALLERY

emptyemptyathleen Kirch Lindley, of Grey Horse Studios, has lived, breathed, and dreamed horses all her life. Growing up in the midwest, she rode and showed hunters on the regional "A" circuit. Upon her graduation from high school, she trained hunters and jumpers professionally for a few years. The long, bitter midwestern winters soon took their toll, and Kathleen left the training profession to return to school, where she studied 19th Century English Literature and Marketing.

While vacationing in Aspen, Colorado, Kathleen met her husband-to-be and left her college career to move out west and marry. With no schoolwork to occupy her spare time, Kathleen pulled out a box of old Breyers and began to experiment with repainting. She researched the hobby on the internet, upgraded to an airbrush, and she was on her way.

Kathleen works with an airbrush in water-based paints and also extensively with pastels. She works hard to continually develop her own unique style and grow as an artist. She hopes her horses reflect her deep and abiding passion for the horse (especially hunters!!), while at the same time providing collectors with lovely entries for highly competitive live shows. Kathleen paints full time at her studio in Aspen and welcomes custom orders.

You may email her or check out her web site. (Note, as of July 2009, website is not current.)
